Ketil and Evelyn Anguyak Reitan offer you a world of wilderness, excitement and joy of life...
You can drive your own dog sled of 5 to 6 friendly, hard working Alaskan huskies. The group leader drives his sled in front, and the participants’ dog teams will naturally follow after. You do not need any previous dog sledding experience. Just an urge to try something different and exciting.

Ketil Reitan was the lead dog musher on the Norwegian team in the BBC's documentary "Blizzard Race To The Pole - between Scott and Amundsen"

We have now bought the expedition equipment. Sleds, tents andseal skin parkas. We can offer you Amundsen Experience trips for
business groups.

The winter is here

We have 20 cm snow! Finally, our guest can ride the dog sleds. Our dogs have had lots of training hours all summer and fall, and they are in great shape. Our dogs will also compete in many sled dog races this winter. Ketil will run the the A team with 12 dogs in the Femundlopet 600 km that starts on February 2. Our dog handler, Markus Ingebretsen, will run the yearling team in the Femund 400 km in the 8 dog class. Finnmarkslopet 1000 km wil lbe the highlight this winter. Ketil will compete with 14 dogs. In 2010 Ketil was the first team out from checkpoint Neiden, but hit the wrong trail and lost 9 hours. The team did very well on the last part of the race and set the record on the last leg of the race from Karasjok to Alta. 9 hours and 38 minutes. We enter a new season with many new and promising dogs, new tactics, and high ambitions. Thanks to our fantastic sponsors Royal Canin, UnoX, Rorosbanken, Roros Hotell and Canada Goose for the support in 2012 season.
