Experience dog sledding in Roros
Driving your own dog team of friendly, well trained Alaskan Huskies in the wilderness is the most fantastic experience you can imagine. Alaskan Husky is owned and operated by Ketil Reitan, one of the most experienced dog mushers in the world, who has run the longest race in Alaska, the Iditarod many times. The guide will drive one dog team in the front, and the participants’ dog teams will follow. You will learn the harness the dogs and drive a dog team. No dog sledding experience is required. Sometimes one person will sit in the sled and one person will be driving. The trip is about 16 km in a beautiful nature area.
